The volume of electricity purchased at ČEZ chargers doubled once again last year. Electric cars charged their batteries 153,612 times using our chargers

The volume of electricity purchased in the ČEZ Group’s network of public charging stations rose by more than 100 per cent, year on year, to 1,963,523 kWh. Drivers of electric cars most often charged their vehicle’s batteries in Prague-Karlín, Olomouc, Prague-Holešovice, and Vestec. The ČEZ Group currently operates more than 190 public charging stations in the Czech Republic, 130 of which are quick-chargers. This infrastructure is being established thanks in part to a European grant from the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) programme.

Unipetrol and ČEZ have further expanded the offer of the Benzina network with electricity. Benzina now offers fifteen fast-charging stations at twelve locations – newly in Břeclav, Domažlice, Hlinsko and Siřejovice.

Unipetrol continues expanding the number of locations within Benzina’s network of filling stations where drivers are offered not only conventional fuels but also electric energy from fast charging stations. The filling stations with the newly installed fast-charging stations from ČEZ can be found in Břeclav near the D2 motorway, Siřejovice on the D8 motorway, Domažlice and Hlinsko. At twelve Benzina locations all over the Czech Republic, a total of fifteen fast-charging points from ČEZ are in operation now.

Unipetrol and ČEZ expand Benzina’s offer with electric energy and add new fast chargers on Motorway D5 at Kladruby and Road I/6 in Bochov

Unipetrol continues expanding the number of locations within Benzina’s network of filling stations where drivers are offered not only conventional fuels but also electric energy from fast charging stations. Two new fast chargers of ČEZ have been installed at Benzina’s outlets in Kladruby on the D5 motorway in the direction to Rozvadov and in Bochov on the international road to Karlovy Vary (Road I/6). Eight Benzina locations throughout the Czech Republic currently offer ten fast chargers from ČEZ.

Purchasing electric vehicle? Choose one from an energy supplier. ČEZ offers electric car packages with a charger, wiring control and green electricity

On April 4, 2019 - ČEZ Prodej, s.r.o. began to provide electromobility as a comprehensive service for households and sole traders. Together with a purchased car, it also offers a wallbox, checking the robustness of the wiring for home charging, a chip for charging in public stations, or green electricity for households of electric vehicle owners. At the same time, ČEZ offers financing for the purchase of an electric car through a favourable loan.

Trutnov public transport has only alternative fuel buses as the first in CR. ČEZ ESCO supplies energy from biomass, a unique 150kW charging station and facilities.

February 5, 2019 - From February, the public transport service in Turnov will have a fleet consisting only of electric buses and CNG buses. Seven new vehicles will replace the old diesel buses and will join three existing CNG buses. In total, there will be ten buses in operation including backup vehicles. The project of Arriva Eastern Bohemia, ABB and ČEZ ESCO will contribute to the improvement of the environment and to public transport modernization.
